Hello everyone,

I am very very new at this and so I have a lot
to learn and in some ways dont know where to begin. Right now I am at
the stage of watching Robert's videos and have not really begun to tap
as I feel I need some one on one instruction, but I know I will give it a
try on my own as I really have a sense that this holds so much
potential. That being said, I already know that there is a HUGE area
that need to work on and heal and this is self-forgiveness.

I see
over and over where people are tapping and releasing as a result of
events that have happened TO them, but I have yet to see a video example
of someone working through forgiveness of self for wrongs they did to
others. For me this feels like my biggest issue, working through all the
pain and hurt I have caused others, over and over in a cycle that just
never seems to stop. The results of such destructive behavior in
addition to the pain I have caused others is the self-remorse, shame,
self-hatred I inflict on myself, over and over internally, and which
never goes away, never far under the surface.

Part of what I know I need to learn is to target properly and I
feel insecure in how to do that effectively, because I know that unless I
do that well, it will take longer to heal. And with time and patience and hard work I hope I can identify the causes and the reasons for my behavior. With an issue like self-forgiveness I am finding it difficult to identify what I would need to tap on, would it be the feelings I have when I think of myself?

I am such a newbie at this, but eager to hear any suggestions and advice others may have so that I can get to work on my "stuff".

At the start, Tap on anything that upsets you. There is no harm in looking at how someting bothers you, and then tapping on it to let it go. You are fine.

Look towards what you want, and choose the next better feeling thought you have access to. http://thesecrettoyourlife.com…..nce-scale/

Observe how you feel and accept it. It Is. Now choose the next better feeling thought and observe it. Play it out till it no longer serves your trek up the emotional scale. Then just choose the next step up. If you cant move up with just the desire to so, then use Faster EFT to break the block. 

I have my own issues that hold me back. But I still feel very gratefull to to have this awareness that I can expand and improve. Faster EFT and Abraham-Hicks have helped me and some who are close to me, have some real breakthroughs. This is the new start of the human race. It is enevitable that the desire to feel good instead of bad, Hopefull instead of defeated, Accepted and loved instead of rejected will come to more people.

More people must come into alignment with what they want, and learn how to allow what they want to flow into thier life.

Sorry for rambling. Relax. Observe yourself with complete acceptance. Enjoy the journey.

For me, it also helps to focus on what you want and don't want. How do I want things to change? How do I want to feel? It might be simply – I want to forgive myself.  Then start looking at what is supporting not being there already. In other words, what you don't want – I don't want to feel guilty, to continue to hurt people, to hate myself etc. Then tap on these things as they come up. I find this helps me aim. You don't necessarily have to mentally search for the reasons and causes, they will become clearer as you tap out your experiences and beliefs.

It was in Aug 2009 that I was completely full up with, either my own negative emotions or other peoples. I gradually peeled away the layers of emotions, tapping on them and eliminating them,which revealed more underneath. So I tapped them away untill I discovered my pattern and when I had taken it on, that of scapegoat which I took on as a child. I am in the process of empowering myself even more by forgiving myself,and realizing I can have all I want. I know I deserve so much and now I am setting out to achieve all my dreams and goals.

For me it's been intuitive healing and EFT that has helped me the most, though yoga,creativity,(art, drama and music) .nutrition and other therapies have contributed to allowing myself to be my true self who I do now love unconditionally. On Christmas Day , at the Salvation Army dinner,afterwards I contributed to the entertainment, ending it by taking my teeth out and singing "All I want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth" though I do still have one front tooth.LaughLaughLaugh  Perseverence has been the key to my healing.Smile Jeannette
