5 Steps To Get Over The Fear of A Job Interview – Success Story

Although the fear of getting rejected at a job interview can be debilitating, there is a way of getting rid of it permanently and effectively.

You will probably have already found that conscious reasoning, logic and reassurance do very little to reduce the fear.

Do you try and give yourself a pep talk by looking in the mirror right before you head in for your interview?

Or maybe you call up someone close to you, hoping they’ll calm you down?

Or you pop an Advil to calm your nerves?

But no matter what you do, all you fear is crippling fear?

This is because what you are feeling is an automated reaction rather than a response to real danger.

Your subconscious is currently referring to memories and experiences, known as records, it holds that provides “proof” that rejection at a job interview is a threat to your very existence.

It is then prompting your brain to trigger the fight, freeze or flight emergency state in order to keep you safe.

To get rid of the fear, you need to change those records.

That’s exactly what Lucie Koppová from Prague, Czech Republic says:

Thanks to faster EFT I managed to defeat [a] tremendous fear of job interviews. I used to be in a terrible panic and needed a pills of Neurol. After targeting correctly my problem with Faster EFT, the panic disappeared. I was calm and I got that work [job].

What is the Fear of Rejection?

Your subconscious mind is like a computer program – it has no ability to determine right from wrong, and it does not have the ability to reason or use logic.

It simply does exactly what it’s programmed to do – and it’s very good at that job.

In fact, it will do anything to keep you safe according to what “safe” means based on the data it references.

If you have a fear of rejection at a job interview or in life, it means that somewhere along the line, an experience you had was interpreted by your subconscious to mean that rejection is a threat.

This “fact” was filed in your subconscious, and it is now doing whatever is necessary to keep you safe from that danger.

This means that when your conscious mind has made choices or decisions that have led to you to a point where even the thought of getting rejected at a job interview, causes your subconscious mind to prompt your brain to signal your organs to produce the chemicals that put your body into a “fight, freeze or flight” state.

This emergency state overrides any conscious reasoning and logic.

It has to – it was designed that way to protect you from predators and other physical dangers.

This is why reasoning and positive thinking do very little to get rid of the fear of rejection at a job interview.

What Causes a Fear of Rejection at a Job Interview?

The subconscious mind of each individual will interpret experiences in different ways depending on the data he or she already holds.

This is why no two people will have exactly the same experience in life or perspective.

If you have a fear of rejection at a job interview, the cause of it will be a record or memory held in your subconscious mind that provides “proof” that rejection, at any level, is a threat to your survival.

As illogical as that may sound, your subconscious mind has no logic and is simply following the programming.

Your fear of rejection at a job interview – depending on how strong it is – may be linked to several records or memories.

In other words, you may have had several different experiences that have provided various “evidence” that rejection is dangerous.

The Solution

Lucie says,

“I want to thank you for your work, for creating this wonderful tool – Faster EFT. I keep watching your videos, they are great, very helpful. I study the principles of how the mind works that you teach, how to get rid of problems, and it really works!”

It’s true that you cannot change other people, and you cannot change the past; but you can change how you represent the past, and you can change how you respond to other people.

Whether it’s at job interviews, at a corporate meeting, in your personal live or in general.

Changing this consciously is difficult since it is your subconscious mind that is in charge of all of your automatic reactions.

Fortunately, you can use the FasterEFT technique to work with your subconscious mind to change the original record/memory quickly and effectively.

And once you change that, your perspective, feelings, and your experience at job interviews will all change automatically – without your even needing to try.

In order to get rid of the fear of rejection, you need to remove that original record.

You need to change the “evidence” that rejection at job interviews is dangerous.

Once you do that, when you find yourself in a situation where rejection is a possibility, the record your subconscious mind will be referring to will be that rejection at a job interview is harmless.

This will mean that your subconscious will not need to prompt your brain to activate the fight, freeze or flight response; and as a result, you will not feel the fear.

FasterEFT is the fastest and most effective way of getting rid of the fear of rejection since it is designed to work with the subconscious to access the original records and change them.

5 Steps to Getting Rid of the Fear of Rejection at a Job Interview using FasterEFT

Step One

Take a deep breath, close your eyes, and go to a memory you have of being rejected.

Find your earliest memory if you can.

If you don’t have a specific memory of experiencing rejection, go to a time when you’ve felt the fear of rejection.

Focus on the feeling.

Notice what the sensation feels like, where in your body you feel it, and how strong it is.

Step Two

Using two fingers, gently tap the following meridian points while focusing on the feeling of your fingers on your skin and saying the phrases.

– Between your eyebrows – I release and let this go now

– Beside your eye – It’s okay to let it go now

– Under your eye – I don’t need it anymore, and it’s safe to let it go now

– Just below your collarbone – That’s right, just let it all go; and I’m safe as I’m letting it go now

Step Three

Grab your wrist, take a deep breath, blow it out, and say “Peace”.

Go to a peaceful memory and enjoy the feeling of that for a moment.

Step Four

Now, think about the rejection again; and notice what’s different.

Notice if the fear has changed in any way.

Notice any sensations in your body.

Notice any other thoughts or memories that may come up. Just notice what’s still there.

Step Five

Go back and repeat Steps 2 through 4 until the fear has completely gone, and any memories of being rejected have changed.

This means that your memories of being rejected have changed to feelings of being accepted – the action in the memories will change as you keep tapping.

Don’t stop until the memory has completely changed from rejection to love and appreciation.

The Key to Success at Job Interviews

Do not stop until there is no trace of the fear at all.

Test yourself by thinking about a job interview where you may have been rejected.

And at the first sign of fear, repeat Steps 2 through 4 each time you feel any fear at all.

This is how you will clean it up completely.

Think of it like weeding a garden – if you leave any of it behind it will grow back.

So you need to make sure that you keep tapping until there is no trace of fear at all, no matter how much you try to make it come back by thinking about being rejected.

This is how Lucie experienced success:

However, I have still a lot of work, I still need to defeat the saboteur within me to finally succeed in life. Thank you once again, [and] god bless you.
