Eutaptics – Meaning and Derivation
The word Eutaptics has been coined by Robert himself, with an emphasis on what the system truly is. Besides, the word is much easier to understand and remember. Eutaptics, pronounced /YOU – taptics/, is a word that can hardly be confused with any other healing or life improvement system today. It narrows the chances of being confused with popular systems operating on questionable beliefs and processes.
EU, pronounced /you/ is a combining form very popular in medicine. Medical terms beginning with /eu-/ implies positive conditions. For example the words: Eupnea – normal, good and rested breathing, Euthyroid – normal, good and physically well state of the thyroid glands, Eupepsia – good or healthy digestion.
Eu is a combining form or word element used not only in medicine. With Greek origin, this prefix implies positive definitions but may also mean “lucky” or “happily” if used as an adverb.
Eu- is the prefix that directly implies opposite of any health condition starting with /dys-/, which implies bad, sick or an ill physical state. These two letters define the primary goal of Eutaptics – that is to allow a normal, good and physically, psychologically, emotionally and spiritually healthy state of being.
Taptics may sound familiar because it has the word “tap” which a key process in FasterEFT. However, -taptics also introduces a new idea that contains key elements of the mind-body healing process. Derived from the word Haptic (origin, Gr.), which means “I touch.”
Haptic Technology is one of the most widely used additions on modern handheld mobile devices to enhance user experience. The vibrations are used by the device to convey information or responses to the user, similarly there are some parallels found in Eutaptics.
Tapping on defined points of the body allows us to engage all the senses to communicate well with the subconscious. The vibrations or pressure from the tips of the fingers on a particular “tapping point” when focusing on any issue creates a pattern interrupt. This weakens the structure of the problem and allows the entire process to yield positive results.
Eutaptics is a complete, safe and mature system that shifts our attention more than ever on the ability of the mind to influence positive changes on the body and behavior. By engaging all our common senses together with our kinesthetic sense, Eutaptics can improve one’s orientation in the present moment by combined processes to heighten awareness of what is generally identified by the physical body.
