"JUST EAT THE DAMN BACON!" - How one student overcame insomnia and mood swings using eutaptics® FasterEFT™

Welcome to another Story of Transformation. We are following an elderly Tap-Along participant - we’ll call her Jane - who has been taking sessions for over three months now. Before Jane came to eutaptics® FasterEFT™ she was lost. Her spirit was broken. She was unhappy, short tempered, unable to sleep, and at her age she didn't even think the dream of a better life was possible. One evening while Jane was scrolling through Facebook an ad popped up that really spoke to her. The post was a call to action to turn around her life, to enable her to reprogram her subconscious allowing her to overcome the struggles she was going through in life. Jane, thinking she has nothing else to lose, decided to sign up for a Tap-Along course. Each session Jane shared her story one small, out of sequence piece at a time because - like most of us who have gone through so much - she didn’t know where to start. Robert Gene encouraged her to start with the first thing that pops into her head because we have to clean up everything anyway!

Jane’s biggest struggle, and one that stood out to her the most in that moment, was how little sleep she had been getting. For as long as she could remember, she was getting around three hours or less a night. At one point, it had gotten so bad that she no longer wanted to drive a car for fear she would teeter off at the wheel. Her feeling of overwhelm had become so great that the insomnia was leading to mood swings and forgetfulness, something she very much wanted to change. So, Robert recommended she try the “End Insomnia - Sleep Great Again!” course. Eager to make the changes she needed for a good night’s rest, Jane took to the course.

A week later, the Tap-Along group came back together and Jane was excited to share her progress. In just a few days she had seen a significant change in her sleep patterns. Rest was no longer a far off fantasy, however, while her insomnia was getting better, her mood was not. She was still struggling with a short fuse and wasn’t sure why. If not the sleep, then what?

Robert had a feeling that it wasn’t the insomnia all along. The insomnia was merely a symptom, the problem was still there and they were going to find it. So, together they tapped. They dug deeper into her subconscious and tapped. She discovered a little more about her past… and they tapped. Then finally they found it - the memory that had started this whole domino effect. It was her sister, but more specifically it was how Jane felt about her sister.

In the past, Jane and her sister had a relationship that Jane often felt was more like a school bully and the kid they picked on rather than siblings. Jane’s sister often rejected her feelings and would belittle her emotions. Jane never understood why she would do this? Why would her own sister treat her this way? Instead of exploring the topics, Jane pushed the feeling down and tried to ignore it. As we know, for anyone who has followed eutaptics® FasterEFT™ training, this is a big “no-no.”

For years Jane carried around those feelings of rejection, and whenever she would think about her sister she’d get a sour feeling. Meanwhile, her sister was struggling herself and Jane was too angry to realize that. This led to bickering, long silences, and Jane taking everything her sister did - whether or not it was related to Jane herself - as a personal attack. While in the Tap-Along, Robert was able to help Jane see how her ignoring the route of the problem had manifested in other ways in her life. How all this time she was carrying the weight of something that could have been so small, but was now a thousand pounds on her shoulders. So again, they tapped.

Jane started to see her sister in a different light. She saw what she was going through and made peace with the thoughts she previously had. Now, instead of wanting to tell her off for all the ways she made Jane feel, Jane just wanted to hug her. Her feelings of irritation had faded, and while the relationship still needed work, Jane felt better about her sister.

All of that transformation. Isn’t it amazing what you can do with just a few days? Because YES! That was just after TWO Tap-Along sessions! Jane’s story is already day and night from where she was before, and we’re only halfway through her journey.

By her third week, Jane had cleaned up memories of a close friend that constantly dragged on and on about her diet, and her home life, and how this friend just wants and wants and wants but never takes action. Robert had even given her a tool - incognito tapping - that would help her feel at peace when she was on the phone or in person with this friend so that the next time her friend went on and on about bacon, Jane wouldn’t want to scream “JUST EAT THE DAMN BACON!”

As the weeks went on, Jane had become unrecognizable. She was physically improving, emotionally improving, even through the zoom calls Robert and the rest of the group could tell she was feeling and looking better. She was even wearing more colorful clothes! When Robert asked how she was doing, she was excited to let everyone know that she had been able to dream for the first time in ages and that for days in a row she had slept through the night. She no longer felt that her age was a restriction and that thanks to Robert and the Tap-Alongs, she is able to look forward and make goals for herself, something she had lost sight of.

Although Jane still feels highs and lows emotionally when it comes to her sister and her friend, she says she has been able to see those emotions as past memories and tap on them now. She has become more understanding and sympathetic to their situations and she feels peaceful knowing she has this tool by her side.

If you resonate with Jane’s story, know that you aren’t alone. Millions of people in the United States struggle with depression, anxiety, insomnia and a myriad of emotional issues caused by memories they aren’t addressing. It’s okay. It’s part of the human experience. However, it doesn’t have to be your “normal” just because it happens to everyone. You can take those memories and transform them into something good that benefits your life and your loved ones in the long run. We can’t control what happens to us, but we can control how we interpret the things that happen and how we choose to let them show up in our lives.

If Jane is any example of the ways that Tap-Alongs and addressing memories using eutaptics® FasterEFT™ can help improve your life, then go to https://www.fastereft.com/pages/events and check out our calendar for all the Tap-Along dates and topics we have coming up. If live chat isn’t for you, we offer dozens of courses that can help you with everything from social anxiety to PTSD to weight loss.

Changing memories, prioritizing yourself and your health, is really a win-win. The only thing you have to lose are the feelings that have been holding you back from the life you want.

“There has always been that someone who's been there for you. They pushed you, dragged you, cheered for you, signed you up for courses, took you to therapy, studied with you, and were there when you cried. That person is yourself. You are your savior and healer. Honor yourself!”

- Robert Gene Smith
