In other words, if you have a record in your subconscious mind that cake makes you feel good – even though you may be unaware of the connection – your subconscious will signal your organs to produce chemicals that make you feel good about cake and bad about not having it.
When you try not to eat cake, you are not simply choosing to not eat it; you are fighting against your body’s craving for it.
This is caused by the record the subconscious mind holds that it makes you feel good.
If you were to change that record about cake or any other aspect of your health, you would be able to easily choose to not eat the cake.
It would then become a simple decision rather than a struggle against your own body.

However, when we look closely at the artificial sweeteners, and understand how they truly work, it might not really be a winning situation.
Sugar substitutes available in the market also tend to be sweeter than regular sugar.
This then causes people’s tastebuds to accept this higher, more intense sweetened taste as the new “normal”.

How to Stop Food Cravings with FasterEFT

Just like any other problem in life, your food cravings are caused by the records held in your subconscious mind.
These records cause the subconscious mind to trigger your body to respond with a craving because it believes that food is essential to your getting what you need.
The great news is: you no longer need to try to use your will power to resist the food you love.
FasterEFT makes you want to eat healthy – automatically!
You’re going to change the original records that caused you to crave that food in the first place.
The result will be a healthy relationship with that food.
You may or may not still choose to eat it – but your choice will be conscious and in alignment with what you really want.
This will impact your health overall – gradually.
Instead of being a slave to your craving, you will be able to choose to not eat that food if you have decided it’s not good for your health; or to have just a small portion of it if you choose to eat it.

How to use FasterEFT to Stop Food Cravings
- Start by noticing how you know you crave that food.
- Where do you feel it in your body? Notice what the sensation feels like, and how strong it is.
- Then, use the FasterEFT tapping technique to address that feeling.
- When you think about the food, what is it about it that you love so much? What does it taste like, and what do you love about the taste?
- Tap on that taste until it changes in your mind when you think about the food – tap until you can no longer taste it in your mind.
- Notice the smell of that food in your mind when you think about it. How does it smell? What do you remember about that smell?
- Now, tap on that smell until it changes to where you can no longer smell it.
- Notice whatever else you notice about the food – is there a texture you like, for example. Again, tap on that until you no longer feel it in your mind when you imagine eating that food.
The Link Between Childhood Trauma and Weight Gain
- The root causes for being overweight are unique to each person, and are a combination of many different beliefs and programs.
Luckily, you don’t need to know what they are.
You only need to start tapping on what you do know.
Whereas fad diets, diet supplements and workout routines address only the symptoms, with FasterEFT you start off by addressing the symptoms, and as you go through the process, your subconscious mind will lead you to the cause.
Keep tapping until you have flipped the feelings, thoughts and memories that are connected to how you know you have a problem.
2. Before you were born, the stage was already set.
Each of your parents already had their own problems.
Their circumstances and the circumstances of your birth were already in place before you arrived.
From being a long-awaited gift to two loving, financially secure, emotionally intelligent, happy people, to being the unwanted consequence of neglecting to use birth control for one night, between two people struggling with addiction, depression and mounting debt, the stage on which you make your entrance will have an automatic and ongoing effect on the identity you develop.
3. As you grow, your subconscious mind interprets your experiences, and records its interpretations.
In other words, if your parents had been trying to have a baby for a long time and were grateful to finally have you, your subconscious may interpret the attention you receive from your parents to mean that you are a valuable, worthy, loveable person.
On the other hand, if you remind your mother of her ex-husband who left her, and she lacks the skills to cope with her emotions, she may treat you with contempt; your subconscious may then interpret that experience to mean you are worthless and will never be good enough.
Naturally, there are infinite combinations of different experiences that create different results in different people.
4. The meanings that your subconscious mind has assigned to what you experience form records that are held for reference.
This is how you learn to survive in the world. It is how you learn to walk without needing to concentrate on every movement; it’s how you learn to drive without needing to consciously make every decision; it’s how you learn to respond to stimuli without needing to think first. And this is the cause of all the problems in your life.
5. As you continue through your life, your subconscious is constantly referring to these records and then prompting your conscious mind and your body to respond and react accordingly.
For example, if you were frightened by a dog when you were a small child, you may hold the subconscious record that dogs (or perhaps that breed of dog) are life-threatening.
This will mean that every time you see a dog (or that specific breed) you will feel fear.
Your subconscious mind recorded that reaction and experience in order to protect you from future danger.
It doesn’t matter if the dog you see today is friendly and harmless, your brain and body react according to the original record you hold.
6. Because these records are in the subconscious mind, we are not aware of the majority of them; this means we may react without knowing why.
